Since 1977 Belchertown Community Preschool has provided quality school preparation and childcare in a play-based program!
- Offering both 3 and 5 day a week programs from 9am – 1pm, we are flexible to support your child and family’s needs.
- Secular, independent, non-profit program encouraging parental involvement.
- A small class size of 16 children with 2 teachers guarantees one-on-one attention while also being able to socialize with their peers, play, and learn!
Curriculum
With our play-based curriculum, students participate in a wide array of activities. Focusing on skills they’ll need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond, our program features a combination of academic skills such as reading, math, and writing, as well as socialization, transitions, and independence.
Themed sensory bins feature mixed media, scissor practice, treasure hunts, and more, allowing children to engage multiple senses as they learn.
Arts and crafts help to build fine motor skills, color sense, and familiarity with letters and numbers.
Outdoor play encourages development of gross motor skills and learning to socialize with peers.
We focus on independent skills, a key component of kindergarten readiness.
Field trips take us into our community to learn about the world we live in.
Musical activities promote movement, group listening skills, and imagination.
Tuition and Enrollment
As a non-profit cooperative preschool, we are funded by a combination of parent fundraising and tuition payments. Read on for the specifics of how our funding model works!
Fundraising
Parents shall participate in a minimum of 2 mandatory fundraising events per year, as well as sign up for one of the committees that supports the school.
If you choose not to participate, there will be a fee of $300 per fundraiser or committee sat out.
Tuition
$400 per month for the 3 day a week 9am- 1pm program
$700 for 5 day a week 9am -1pm program

Enrollment Requirements
2 years 9 months old by September 1st
Child should be potty trained
$75 registration fee due at time of enrollment
Parents or guardians to provide lunch and snack for their child
